On the afternoon of February 10, Hue Spring Festival in the Year of the Horse 2026, themed “Identity and Integration”, officially opened at Ly Tu Trong Park along the bank of the Huong River on Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa Ward. The event is organized by Hue City People's Committee.

In the days leading up to the Lunar New Year of the Horse, when streets are awash in the golden hues of apricot blossoms, young people once again eagerly enter the season of photo hunting. From the Imperial Citadel, ancient pagodas, and Dong Ba Market to cafes decorated in spring colors, every street corner and every space become a backdrop for capturing beautiful moments. Tet photos not only mark the transition between the old year and the new, but also reflect the vibrant, youthful rhythm of life in the heart of the Ancient Capital.

On the afternoon of February 9, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, visited and extended Tet greetings to several policy beneficiaries and social protection beneficiaries in Thuan Hoa Ward.

On February 8, the People's Committee of Phong Thai Ward held a ceremony to announce the decision to establish and launch the Phong Thai Yellow Apricot Club.

Wanting to personally prepare meticulous Tet gifts, while “subtly showing off” their dexterity, many young people are making their own candied fruits and sweet treats for their families, for relatives and friends, or for small-scale sales.

On the morning of February 7th, Gia Hoi High School solemnly held a ceremony to commemorate the 60th anniversary of its founding (February 7th, 1966 - February 7th, 2026). Attending the event were Standing Member of the City Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh.

On the evening of February 7, at Kim Long Park in front of Kim Long Communal House, Kim Long Ward People’s Committee held the opening ceremony of the program “Kim Long Tet - Where Tradition Shines” 2026. The event is a hallmark community cultural activity that recreates the traditional Tet atmosphere while honoring and promoting the distinctive cultural values of Hue City - the historically rich land along the Huong River.

On February 7, the Department of Irrigation and Climate Change under Hue City Department of Agriculture and Environment, in coordination with Quang Dien Commune People’s Committee, held the inauguration of Pho Nam A Village Cultural House.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, at noon on February 6th, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of Hue City Party Committee, led a delegation of the City Party Committee to visit, offer incense in remembrance, and extend Tet greetings to veteran revolutionaries, former city leaders, and people with meritorious service to the revolution in the area.

On the evening of February 6, at the area in front of the Imperial Academy, Ham Nghi Square, and along 23 Thang 8 (August 23) Street in Phu Xuan Ward, Phu Xuan Ward People’s Committee held the opening ceremony of the “Phu Xuan Tet - Colors and Flavors of the Ancient Capital” program, attracting a large number of residents and visitors.
