On the morning of June 9th, Hue City Center for Culture, Information, and Sports organized the opening ceremony and activities for the Hue - Cergy Cultural and Artistic Exchange Day titled “From tradition to modernity”. This event is part of Hue International Arts Festival 2024.

On the morning of June 7, the Provincial Executive Board of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha organized an opening ceremony of the Art exhibition of Buddhist culture - Hue Festival 2024 at Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center (15A Le Loi Street, Hue City).

On the morning of June 7th, at Hue Children Hall, the Biodiversity Conservation component, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), in collaboration with the World Wide Fund for Nature in Vietnam (WWF-Vietnam), Helvetas, and the Forest Protection Department, organized the opening ceremony of the “For the sustainable life of nature and people” exhibition. This event is part of the “Sustainable Forest management and Biodiversity conservation” (VFBC) project.

Within the framework of Hue International Art Festival Week 2024, on the afternoon of June 6, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with People's Artist Tran Do organized the opening of the exhibition "Dragon Symbol through Tran Do’s Pottery. The exhibition is displayed in the ancient, splendid space of Kien Trung Palace in Hue Imperial Citadel.

Hue International Art Festival Week 2024 will officially open on the evening of June 7th. As of now, the preparations have basically been completed, with the final stages being rapidly carried out.

On the afternoon of June 3, at the Truong Lang Corridor of the Forbidden City, Hue Imperial City, Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with Hue University of Arts organized the opening ceremony of an exhibition on arts and heritage, with the theme “Artistic inspiration from royal patterns”. The exhibition is part of a series of activities in response to the highlight week of Hue Festival 2024.

On the evening of May 31, Hue City's Youth Union coordinated with Hue Children's House to organize the opening ceremony of summer activities and the launching ceremony of the Month of action for children, as well as awarding prizes for a writing contest themed “Pens of the young ages”, and an English video clip contest themed “I am a tour guide” in 2024.

On the evening of May 20, the Provincial Executive Board of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and the Vesak 2568 Organization Board held the opening ceremony of flower boat parade. After the opening ceremony, the flower boats will parade on the Huong River. This is one of the important activities within the framework of the Vesak Week 2568.

On the afternoon of May 15th, at Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center, the Executive Board of provincial Buddhist Sangha and the Organizing Board of the Vesak Day Celebration of Buddhist Calendar 2568 held the opening ceremony of the Buddhist cultural exhibition themed “Fragrance of the Lotus”. This significant event is part of the series of activities for the Vesak Week of Buddhist Calendar 2568 in 2024.

Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) on May 11 announced that the 31st World Travel Awards for Asia and Oceania has been now open for voting at www.worldtravelawards.com. The voting period will close on July 23, 2024.
