With the theme “We are Uncle Ho's Soldiers”, this year's “Military Semester” program has attracted 42 teenagers participating from June 16 to 22.

The program features key activities such as basic and advanced military discipline training; education on traditions, patriotism, and the spirit of readiness to fight for the nation; building the image of “Uncle Ho's Soldiers” and a sense of discipline; equipping life skills and social activity skills; and participating in cultural, artistic, sports, and folk dance activities, etc.

Ms. Hoang Thi Thuy Linh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City’s Youth Union, stated that the program aims to educate patriotism and arouse national pride in the children. From there, it contributes to raising the awareness of the younger generation towards society, promoting the responsibility to “Protect the Fatherland early and from afar; and to defend the country before it is in danger” in line with the spirit of the 13th Party Congress Resolution. At the same time, it creates a useful and practical learning environment, equipping knowledge and skills, and guiding the children towards a healthy, simple, cultured, and responsible lifestyle for themselves, their families, and the society.
