Over 430 athletes compete at Hue City's Youth Taekwondo Tournament

HNN.VN - On the morning of July 2nd, Hue City Youth Activity Center hosted the 2nd Open Youth Taekwondo Tournament - 2025.

 Athletes competing in the Poomsae (Forms) category

This year’s tournament attracted 433 athletes (250 males, 183 females) who are currently training at Taekwondo clubs in Hue City and neighboring provinces and cities.

Athletes competed in three categories: Individual sparring, Team sparring, and Poomsae (forms), across four age groups: U12, U15, U18, and over 18.

According to representatives of Hue City Youth Activity Center, the tournament aims to provide a healthy and meaningful playground for young people passionate about Taekwondo, offering them the opportunity to exchange and learn from each other. At the same time, it helps assessing athletes’ skill levels and to identify and select talented individuals for further development and training.
