Owning a diversified culinary background with various unique features, Thua Thien Hue has a potential to explore and develop culinary tourism. To reach effectiveness, instead of simple activities of visiting and enjoying food, the province has to pay much more attention to local-original culinary experiences.

The two sides will coordinate to organize festival activities, cultural exchanges, sports, art performances, displays and exhibitions to celebrate major holidays and important events in the two localities, thereby promoting the culture and images of theirs.

On the morning of October 8th, the broadcast of the final round of the Road to Mount Olympia 2023 competition took place enthusiastically at the entrance of Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted. Attending the event were Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phan Ngoc Tho, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh, and over 2,000 students, teachers, and local residents who came to support Nguyen Minh Triet, a 12th-grade student majoring in Physics at Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted.

Thua Thien Hue is one of the 12 localities assigned the task of actively selecting suitable night tourism models, with the goal by 2030 to establish Vietnam's night-tourism-product brand. Choosing which products for night tourism to avoid duplication among regions and to reflect the characteristics of each locality is an issue that should be taken into careful consideration.

With the target of facilitating the formation acceleration of coastal urban areas for the local socioeconomic and tourism development, the project of coastal road through Thua Thien Hue Province and bridge across Thuan An Estuary (Hue City) is being sped up by the investor in site clearance and construction progress.

Hue International Photography Festival 2023, which took place from September 10 to September 13 and was organized by Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with the Crossing Bridge 20Plus, attracted the participation of nearly 100 photographers from many countries, including Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Sri Lanka, along with 19 photographers from localities throughout the country.

The first annual boat racing event of Thuy Thanh commune (Huong Thuy town) kicked off on the morning of August 30th on Nhu Y River (at the community tourism spot of Thanh Toan Tiled-Roof Bridge), marking the start of a series of activities to celebrate numerous important local events.

From a girl who could only help her parents with farming - growing rice and corn, Ms. A Lang Be has taken her opportunity to become a tour guide when the legendary Kazan waterfall in Doi village (Thuong Lo commune, Nam Dong district), considered “a natural breast”, bestows an eco-tourism site on the local community.

Hue City aims to establish a smart tourism information infrastructure which is compatible with smart devices, contributing to ensuring a consistent management system and the utilization of cultural and tourism information among local organizations. This is the objective of the project to build a smart cultural and tourism Hue city, sponsored by KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency in Vietnam).

Along with supporting the restoration of Hue heritage, experts from the German Society for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage also strive to pass on love and understanding of heritage to local people, especially the younger generation.
