Thua Thien Hue is a leading locality in organizing the contemporary form of national and international festivals. After more than 24 years of existence and development, the Hue Festival has become a noteworthy event in the system of festivals worldwide.

The Vietnam local promotion program in the United States and Canada is expected to contribute to introducing the image and potential of Vietnam in general and Thua Thien Hue in particular to international friends; at the same time, attract investment and promote economic and trade cooperation of US and Canadian partners in Thua Thien Hue.

After the complete liberation of the South, the country was unified, Thua Thien Hue remained a locality bearing many scars of war; the lives of the people were extremely difficult; many buildings, architectures were desolate and in ruins. Compared to their peers living in Hue City and the lowlands, children in the mountainous and remote Nam Dong and A Luoi districts are at a significant disadvantage in terms of access to information technology, books, and age-appropriate publications. However, thanks to the efforts of the education sector, local authorities, and schools, the reading spaces for children in these places are increasingly being supplemented with a variety of books and periodicals, helping them have more "good friends" during their breaks or extracurricular activities.

Alongside the festive atmosphere of the 2024 festivals taking place in the province, the People's Committee of Hue City organizes Hue Traditional Food Week 2024 with the theme “Hue Cuisine with all Localities” at Thuong Bac Park, Tran Hung Dao street, Dong Ba ward.

“A steadfast anchorage” is the aspirations and hopes of generations of fishermen venturing out to sea and the local authorities of Thua Thien Hue province in their efforts to meet the evolving needs of the fishing community.

From researching the topic to participate in the Provincial Science-Technology Contest for High School Students, a group of students from Dang Tran Con Senior High School made tea bags from rose myrtle flowers, a unique product from the local raw material sources.

In 2024, numerous key projects in Thua Thien Hue province are expected to be completed and operational, promising to generate new momentum for development within the province.
