The People's Committee of Hue City has just launched a news and art photo contest with the theme "Hue - A friendly land", with the aims to propagate and promote beautiful images of culture, civilized lifestyle, landscape, environment and people of Hue, who are friendly and hospitable, to domestic and international visitors and friends.

Inside the Hue Imperial Citadel, Can Chanh – the most important palace after Thai Hoa Palace – was built in the 3rd year of Gia Long’s reign (1804) and destroyed in 1947. This is also the palace that is assessed by Western scholars as the most beautiful and splendid construction of the imperial citadel.

The exhibition “Flamink Artfair” opened its doors on the afternoon of July 22nd and will run until August 8th, 2023 at the “Flamink Art space.” The exhibition features 25 paintings, ceramics, and art installations by 13 young artists and 1 guest artist, Dang Mau Triet. The majority of the paintings are created using lacquer and acrylic materials."

Ao Dai, no matter how beautiful and culturally significant it is, must also incorporate fashion elements and be adapted to fit the modern era in order to remain relevant. How can we attract the attention of the young generation to the traditional Ao Dai, so they will wear it proudly and honor its beauty and cultural heritage? They try to preserve and promote the value of Tam Giang - Cau Hai lagoon... with all their love and enthusiasm. Many other residents are also joining hands to protect their livelihood and that of future descendants.

It is the Huong River, the river that "embraces Hue in its heart", which is also a priceless gift that nature has dedicated to this place. The Huong River is magnificent from the upstream, with a peaceful beauty and full of poetry as it confluences and hugs around gardens and villages such as Kim Long, Nguyet Bieu, Vy Da, Gia Hoi, Bao Vinh, and Sinh village, etc. And then, before pouring water into the sea, the downstream river area is a place to make a living, which is hard but close and dear to the locals.

On the afternoon of July 14, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Hoang Hai Minh chaired the working session with the delegation of Ritsumeikan University from Japan on the implementation of the Sofix pilot project and the plan to construct the Sofix Laboratory Center in Thua Thien Hue.
