The city has undergone a process of accumulation and infrastructure investment, transforming its urban landscape. Completed urban infrastructure projects have largely met the requirements for connecting the central urban area with satellite towns, creating momentum for the city’s socio-economic development.

On December 30, in Kim Long Ward, Hue City Project Management Board for Construction Investment and Urban Development held a conference to announce the Zoning Plan (1/2000 scale) for the Golf Course Tourism Area located in Kim Long Ward and Binh Dien Commune, Hue City.

On the morning of December 19, at Km 64+400 (Huong Tra Ward), the Ministry of Construction, in coordination with the People’s Committee of Hue City and the People’s Committee of Quang Tri Province, held the groundbreaking ceremony for the investment project to expand the Eastern North-South expressway, Cam Lo - La Son section.

On the afternoon of December 15, Hue City Department of Health, in coordination with Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids in Vietnam and Hue Help, held a conference to share a summary and evaluation of the results of the Child Drowning Prevention Project during the 2024-2025 period, while also calling for investment sponsorship for the next phase.

On December 2nd, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Khac Toan held a meeting with representatives of Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park Joint Venture Company (VSIP) to hear a report on several proposed investment projects in the city.

On the morning of November 29, leaders of Hue City Project Management Board for Transport Construction Investment announced that the project of coastal road and the bridge passing over Thuan An estuary has reached approximately 90% of its total construction value; and is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.

On October 3rd, representatives of the Management Board of the city’s Economic and Industrial Zones reported that the area has attracted many major projects. From now until the end of 2025, six more projects will be invited, with a total investment of about 10 trillion VND.

On September 16th, Hue City Transportation Construction Investment Project Management Board reported that it had submitted a proposal to Hue City People’s Committee for approval of the investment policy for building the new Vinh Tu bridge across Tam Giang lagoon, connecting Quang Dien commune with Phong Quang ward. The project’s total investment is estimated at over 1.500 billion VND.

On the morning of August 31, Phu Xuan Investment and Service Trading Joint Stock Company coordinated with Hue City People’s Committee held a groundbreaking ceremony for the commercial project at No.42 Phan Chu Trinh St. (The Moonlit Hue Hotel).

On the morning of August 29, Hue Premium Silica Co., Ltd. (HPS) officially held a ceremony to inaugurate the project of Investment for expanding a new production line of its high-quality low-iron sand and quartz powder processing factory.
