On May 19th, the People's Committee of Phu Loc District organized a conference to promote and attract investment in tourism in 2023.

The conference themed “Developing an open innovation start-up ecosystem in association with investment and technology transfer activities in Thua Thien Hue province” was held on the morning of April 18th.

On April 12, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong had a meeting and working session with Central Retail Vietnam Group, led by Mr. Olivier Bernard R. LANGLET, CEO of Central Retail Vietnam Group, on researching in investment and development in the province.

“Social impact businesses and sustainable business: Awareness and support policies” was the topic of a seminar held on the afternoon of April 10. The event was organized by the Provincial Department of Planning and Investment in collaboration with the Enterprise Development Agency, a unit under the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI).

Allocating resources to develop urban space in lagoon and seaside areas; investing in Chan May - Lang Co Economic Zone; clarifying the shape of a modern Hue City, etc., are some suggestions from leading experts on planning, architecture, urbanization, economy, and so on, at the conference organized by the Provincial People's Committee on the afternoon of April 1st to collect opinions on the Urban Master Plan of Thua Thien Hue to 2045, with a vision to 2065.

On March 29, The Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), the Australian Embassy and the Australian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City cooperated with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Provincial People's Committee to organize a conference to promote Australian education, culture and cuisine in Hue City, within the Viet Nam - Australia: Unlocking Opportunities in Education and Agrifood roadshow series.

Along with the investment in completing traffic infrastructure, lighting system and public utilities, Hue City has recently prioritized the resources to allocate investment capital to upgrade and restore communal houses, in order to contribute to the conservation and restoration of relics in the area.

On the afternoon of March 27, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh had a meeting and worked with Mr. Mitani Mitsuru, Chairman of Mitani Sangyo Group (Japan) and his delegation.

This was the topic of an Entrepreneur Cafe program, which was organized by the Provincial Business Association in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Planning and Investment on the morning of March 25. The program attracted the participation of a large number of enterprises in the provincial area.

On March 20, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Truong Luu received H.E. Oh Youngju, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Vietnam.
