Representatives of businesses and distributors signing cooperation agreement

As part of the program, alongside an exhibition showcasing products from businesses, cooperatives, and household businesses, Hue City Center for Investment Promotion, Trade and Enterprise Support also hosts the 2025 Conference on Connecting the Consumption of Agricultural Products, Local Specialties, OCOP products, and Handicrafts in Hue City. The event attracts nearly 10 distributors, including supermarkets, agents, and retail store owners coming to experience and learning about the products, along with 35 businesses participating in product displaying.

The initiative aims to support enterprises, cooperatives, and household businesses in promoting agricultural products, local specialties, OCOP items, and handicrafts produced in the city, while strengthening linkages with distributors, agents, retail systems, consumers, and tourists.

It also helps businesses boost year-end sales, stimulate consumer demand, expand markets, increase revenue, and promote the city’s signature products, thereby enhancing local brand value and driving economic growth.

 The businesses introducing their products

At the conference, enterprises and distributors shared insights on requirements and standards for joining supply chains. Most distributors stressed the need for businesses and household producers to standardize branding, product quality, and packaging design, while also ensuring proper invoices and documentation in transactions… By clearly outlining market conditions and product standards, the discussions encouraged producers to renew their mindset, improve packaging, and apply technology in production and business, thereby helping to boost product consumption.

Additionally, 14 memoranda of understanding (MoU’s) between distributors and enterprises were also signed at the conference.
