On August 8th, nearly 20 of Vietnam’s leading F&B (food and beverage) brands gathered at the “F&B Hue 2025: The F&B 5.0 Model” event, where they shared practical insights into development trends and applicable solutions for the food and beverage sector. The event was organized by Hue F&B Community and drew a large number of business representatives, shop owners, and others with a keen interest in food and beverage scene in the area.

The expansion of Hue Brewery Plant, once completed, will become one of the most modern beer production facilities in the country. It will help enhance the company’s competitiveness while serving as a core driver in the local processing industry.

In addition to historical sites and beautiful landscapes, shopping streets, culinary quarters, and other distinctive urban areas are essential factors contributing to the appeal and revenue of the tourism industry in many countries.

On the evening of July 8th, Hue City Tourism Association held a gathering to mark the 65th anniversary of the traditional day of Vietnam’s tourism sector (July 9th, 1960 – July 9th, 2025).

In addition to other potential markets, the tourism sector of the ancient capital is intensifying efforts in promotion, branding, and positioning Hue in European countries. The “smokeless industry” of the ancient capital is showing many positive signs, suggesting that with proper investment, it could become an attractive destination for wealthy travelers.

According to the report of 2024 Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) released by Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) recently, Hue City made a strong impression by entering the top 10 localities with the best economic governance quality in the country, scoring a total of 71.13 points, ranking 6th out of 63 provinces and cities.

The National Tourism Year (NTY) - Hue 2025 represents a major opportunity for Hue’s tourism industry. The key issue is how to ensure that by the end of NTY, Hue gains significant “profit,” not only in visitor numbers.

To provide the activities of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 to tourists, the tourism industry of the Imperial Ancient Capital, along with other units and businesses, has developed a plan to promote and introduce the events in a focus way, reaching both domestic and international markets.
