Hue tourism participating in the 19th Tourism Festival - 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City

The 19th Tourism Festival - 2023 took place from April 6th to 9th at September 23 Park (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) with the theme "The intersection point - A lively journey" associated with the program's message "Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City”.

The event had nearly 100 stalls, including 46 stalls of provinces and cities along with 30 ones more of tourism service businesses and other units.

The program had 3 separate areas, including: Space for promoting tourism, Space for exhibition and display, Space for food. At the stalls, the units and businesses were able to design and display their typical products and services as well as showing their potential and strengths. They also had the opportunities to organize meetings with customers; introduce and offer new and attractive tourism products, services, and preferential rates of tour packages…

Participating in the festival, Hue tourism industry focused on promoting its events and festivals of this year; especially the Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2023 and a series of activities to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Complex of Hue Monuments and the 20th anniversary of Hue Royal Court Music recognized as the world’s cultural intangible heritage.

This was among the key outcomes shared at the Conference on Reviewing the Implementation of Resolution 05/2019/NQ-HDND issued by the Provincial People’s Council (now Hue City People’s Council) on policies supporting community-based tourism (CBT) development in Thua Thien Hue Province (now Hue City) through 2025. The conference, organized by the Department of Tourism on the morning of November 12th, gathered representatives from departments, agencies, and 40 communes and wards across the city.
