Many resort hotels in Hue winning awards

Azerai La Residence Hue is the first winner of the "Upcountry Hotels" category in Vietnam

Notably, in the Travel + Leisure Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2023, Azerai La Residence Hue is ranked the first place in Vietnam in the "Upcountry Hotels" category. This is the category for luxury resort hotels located far from the coast.

Azerai La Residence Hue is a classy and charming resort located by the romantic Huong River. The resort has 122 rooms and suites.

Besides, Azerai La Residence Hue had been named by readers of the famous American travel magazine Conde Nast Traveler as one of the top 20 resorts in Asia for many years in a row, and added to the list of the world's 500 best hotels by the Travel + Leisure magazine in 2014 and 2015. In 2019, Azerai La Residence Hue had been also named in the list of 100 greatest places in the world by the TIME magazine.

Furthermore, also in the Travel + Leisure Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2023, in the "Hotel Spas" category, Alba Wellness Valley by Fusion is ranked 3rd place in Vietnam, and Banyan Tree Lang Co is ranked 6th place in Vietnam. This is the category for luxury spa services in the hotels. On top of that, Alba Wellness Valley by Fusion is also ranked 5th place in Vietnam in the “Upcountry Hotels” category.

In particular, Hue is ranked 8th place in the top 10 destinations within the "Cities" category in the Awards. There are only two cities of Vietnam listed in the top 10 in this category, which are Hanoi and Hue.

According to the leader of the Provincial Department of Tourism, the award-winning resort hotels this time show an opportunity to continue promoting Thua Thien Hue tourism in the direction of becoming a wellness tourism destination.
