Aiming to create a clean, friendly tourism environment for the health of the community, efforts to prevent and control the harmful effects of tobacco at accommodation facilities, hotels, and resorts in Hue City have recently been strengthened and effectively implemented. Many hotels not only strictly comply with legal regulations but have also creatively developed smoke-free models in alignment with green and sustainable tourism development.

With the support of the World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF - Vietnam), the project to develop the value chain of native medicinal plants in the Central Truong Son region, implemented by Green Alliance Company, has brought many positive results for local people and the community.

On March 16, the leader of Hue Power Company (Hue PC) announced that the unit has just implemented numerous activities in response to the “Nationwide energy efficiency and conservation in response to Earth Hour 2025” movement.

On the afternoon of January 17, at Duyet Thi Duong Theater - Hue Imperial City, Hue Monuments Conservation Center held the opening ceremony of Hue tuong mask exhibition space. This program was implemented with the sponsorship of Vingroup Innovation Fund (VinIF).

The project "Preservation, renovation, restoration of Tu Duc Mausoleum", including Dien Hoa Khiem (Royal palace for worship and ceremonies), Minh Khiem Duong (Ceremonial pavilion), On Khiem Duong (Pavilion for royal functions), rampart, gate, and screen wall is being implemented by the Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC).

On the morning of September 28th, at Quoc Tu Giam historical site, the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province organized a ceremony to commend students who achieved the title of “Honored student of the school” for the 2023-2024 academic year. Within the framework of the implementation of the national-level independent project on “Studying and evaluating the current status of the avifauna, and proposing solutions for management and conservation of bird species in coastal lagoon area in Central Vietnam”, which is presided over by the Central Coast Natural History Museum, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and implemented by Dr. Ho Thang, the project leader, the research team has recorded the glossy ibis (Plegadis falcinellus) for the first time in the O Lau estuary of Tam Giang - Cau Hai lagoon.
