In the framework of the activities celebrating 30th anniversary (1993 - 2023) of the Complex of Hue Monuments and 20th anniversary (2003 - 2023) of the Royal Music - Vietnam Royal Court Music being recognized as a world heritage by UNESCO, on the morning of June 16, at Hien Lam Cac (Hien Lam Palace) - Hue Imperial Citadel, Hue Monuments Conservation Center held an exhibition named “Vietnam land on Nine Dynasty Urns”.

There are more than 100 lychee trees (also known as Le Chi) in their fruit-laden season inside Hue Imperial Citadel, contributing to the beauty of the Imperial Palace.

On the morning of April 27, the organizing committee of Hue Festival 2023 opened the exhibition “Bonsais and Orchids of three regions in 2023” at Hue Imperial Citadel. This is an activity in the framework of summer festival programs with the theme “The Shining Citadel”.

Inherently being called a regal flower associated with the image of the Nguyen Dynasty in Hue, the annual blooming season of Firmiana simplex (also known as Chinese parasol) flowers is in late March and April, creating picturesque images in the space of Hue Imperial Citadel.

In the lakes around Hue Imperial Citadel and all over the periphery of Hue City, white lotus flowers have begun to bloom, bringing the pure and brilliant beauty.

The Cay Mai ceramics (of an ancient pottery line) has long been appreciated for its meticulousness and sophistication. The products of this pottery line have still been present in the imperial Citadel and the royal residences in Hue, attracting the attention of lovers.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Cat 2023, Hue Monuments Conservation Center organizes various cultural and artistic activities at Hue Imperial Citadel to introduce to visitors the special and unique features of the Ancient Capital’s culture on the old days and create vibrant atmosphere for the heritage area.

On the 1st, 2nd and 3rd days of Tet (from January 22nd-24th), Hue Imperial Citadel will be bustling with numerous activities, including the Changing of the Guard ceremony at Ngo Mon Square.
