The exhibition gathers over special and typical 1.000 works, including 400 bonsais, 600 orchids, and 100 works of artistic ornamental stones of over 300 artisans coming from orchid, bonsai and ornamental stones clubs from 15 cities and provinces all over the country. This is the largest-scale exhibition ever.

The exhibition is an occasion for bonsai and orchid artisans from all three regions to get the chance to exchange their experiences and introduce to domestic and foreign visitors the most beautiful works of bonsai and orchid, which clearly express the special characteristics of each region.

In the poetic space of Thuong Uyen Garden, visitors will be able to contemplate the vibrant colors of orchids, as well as enjoy the uniqueness of hundreds of bonsais “showing off their shapes”, together with many special artistic ornamental stones.

The highlight of this exhibition is a ritual to offer bonsais and orchids into the Hue Imperial Citadel of artisans coming from all three regions, expressing their good deep in joining hands to the national cultural heritage preservation.

To create favorable conditions for people to enjoy this exhibition, the organizing committee open the Hue Imperial Citadel for free on the nights of April 27 to 29. Two entrances including Chuong Duc and Hien Nhon Gates open for visitors to visit this exhibition at night.

As most of the artisans from the old days have nearly disappeared, the hands of this woman in her fifties have become a place where a craft once closely associated with the royal art of Hue is being preserved.
