On July 10, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, had a courtesy meeting with Ms. Sophie Maysonnave, Cultural Counselor of the French Embassy, and Director of the French Institute in Vietnam.

On the morning of July 9th, Vietnam Airlines, in collaboration with Hue City People's Committee and Phu Bai International Airport, held a special ceremony to welcome a milestone flight in celebration of the 65th anniversary of Vietnam's tourism sector. The event also aims to respond to the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 and honored the airline’s 350 millionth passenger.

From July 5th - 8th, a delegation from Hue City, led by Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Quy Phuong, participated in the 47th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee (WHC 47) held at UNESCO headquarters in Paris (France).

Hue is not only ancient with its heritage system; through the lens of domestic and international photographers, Hue is also poetic and emotional, filled with everyday scenes and the simplicity and kindness of its people.

On the morning of July 3rd, Hue City Blind Association (HCBA) held a mid-year review conference to assess its activities during the first six months of 2025, outline tasks for the second half of the year, and review the five-year implementation of the 2021-2025 support program for people with disabilities (PWDs).

With the motto “Sow an action, reap a habit; sow a habit, reap a character,” the “Green Sunday” movement has been brought to life by the youth of Hue City through practical, community-oriented models and activities, aiming to engage and unite people from all walks of life.

“The beaches in Hue are well-known as some of the most interesting destinations that you shouldn’t miss when visiting the ancient capital. Their beauty can be summed up in three words: “fascinating the soul”.

On June 25, Vice Chairmen of Hue City People’s Committee, including Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, and Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, conducted field inspections and working sessions with local authorities regarding preparations and operation of the two-level local government model. Leaders from relevant departments and sectors also attended the working sessions.

Hue, the former ancient capital, is a land with a resilient tradition of resistance against foreign invasion. Its peaceful rural outskirts, home to hardworking and loyal people, have produced many talented individuals and renowned historical figures.

On June 23, the People’s Committee of Hue City announced that the Vietnam Urban Planning and Development Association (VUPDA) had just held the award ceremony for the 4th National Urban Planning Awards.
