Beyond meeting the healthcare needs of local residents, Hue is welcoming an increasing number of international patients for medical examinations and treatment. Alongside its clinical expertise, advanced medical techniques and growing focus on service quality, the city has favorable conditions to develop healthcare services linked to tourism, wellness and cultural experiences.

On September 8, 2026, Hue City People’s Committee issued Plan No. 519/KH-UBND to implement Conclusion No. 372-KL/TU of the City Party Committee. The plan continues the implementation of Resolution No. 04-NQ/TU on building Hue into one of the country’s major and distinctive centers of culture and tourism, and Resolution No. 37-NQ/TU on developing tourism and tourism services for the 2025–2030 period, with a vision to 2045.

On the morning of September 28, Hue Odonto - Stomatology Hospital and Hue International General Hospital, in coordination with ReSurge International, launched a screening and microsurgical reconstruction program, including oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgery for patients who have undergone cancer treatment.

On the afternoon of September 27th, Vietnam - China Friendship Association of Hue City, in coordination with the Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture, University of Foreign Languages and International Studies, Hue University, held a friendship gathering and exchange program to mark the 77th anniversary of the National Day of the People’s Republic of China (October 1st, 1949 - October 1st, 2026). ​

On September 27, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Department of Health organized a health check-up and consultation program for children being cared for and raised at Facility 3 of Hue City Social Work and Child Protection Center (formerly Hue SOS Children’s Village).

On the afternoon of September 26th, Hue City Youth Union held a ceremony to honour recipients of the ‘Student with 5 Good Criteria’, ‘Student with 3 Good Criteria’ and ‘Student with 3 Good Training Criteria’ titles, as well as the ‘January Star’ Award at the city level.

The Wrestling Championship, part of the 10th Hue City Sports Festival – 2026, officially opened on the morning of September 26th at the Culture and Sports Square, 1 Ha Huy Tap Street, Vy Da Ward. ​

On the afternoon of September 26, at Le Duc Anh Secondary School (Chan May - Lang Co Commune), the For Highland and Island Youth Fund and the ‘For Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa’ Club, in coordination with Hue City Department of Education and Training, held a ceremony to award scholarships for the 2026 - 2027 academic year to ethnic minority students and students in coastal and island areas across the city.

On the evening of September 26, at the 1K Noodle Shop (Tiem mi 1K), Hue SOS75 Zero-Cost Team held the ‘Journey of Sharing Love’ program, presenting gifts and free meals to people facing difficult circumstances in the city.

On the morning of September 26, Hue Central Hospital, in coordination with the city’s Cancer Association, organized a free health checkup and cancer screening program for 300 residents in Phong Phu ward.

From the bus’s upper floor, tourists were easy to contemplate Hue City at night and take photos as they passed by Dong Ba Market, Phu Van Lau, Hue Railway Station, or enjoy the beauty of a poetic Hue City illuminated by the lights from Truong Tien Bridge and the lights reflecting from the Perfume River, etc.
