On the afternoon of June 13 at the Indochine Palace Hotel (Hue City), the Organizing Committee of Miss Vietnam 2024 convened a press conference to unveil details about the National Final Round, which will be hosted in the former imperial capital of Hue for the first time.

During the April 30 - May 1 holiday period, employees will benefit from an extended five-day consecutive vacation. Forecasts predict domestic tours will attract many visitors. Local tourism authorities, travel agencies, and hotels have prepared numerous products and services, ready to welcome tourists.

Once the sous chef of a five-star hotel in Hue and a multiple award-winning chef, Tran Huy Cuong took an unexpected turn in his career, venturing into entrepreneurship in his 50s. Driven by the desire to “turn simple things into specialties,” he chose the figs as the starting point for his journey to bring Hue’s traditional culinary products to Vietnamese dining tables and beyond.

On the evening of March 21st, Saigon Morin Hue Co., Ltd. held a ceremony to commemorate the 124th anniversary of the founding of Saigon Morin Hue Hotel. Attending the conference were leaders of departments, agencies of Hue City, Vietnam Tourism Association, and Hue City Tourism Association.

On the afternoon of December 18, a National Scientific Conference themed “Promoting the value of Hue traditional music in cultural and tourism development” took place at Saigon Morin Hotel. The conference was jointly organized by Thua Thien Hue Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations and relevant agencies.

On November 28, nearly 100 travel agencies and hotel businesses from Thua Thien Hue Province and Da Nang City surveyed the Golden Sands Golf Resort golf course (located in Vinh Xuan and Vinh Thanh communes, Phu Vang district) to explore cooperation opportunities and promote the robust development of golf tourism in the coming time.

On November 13, the Provincial Center for Disease Control (CDC) organized a training course on how to create smoke-free environments in restaurants, hotels, and resorts.

The leading travel website Travel + Leisure Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and Macau in Bangkok, Thailand has recently announced the nominees winning the prestigious Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2024, with Azerai La Residence Hue being one of them.

On June 4th, General Director of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism signed a decision to recognize La Vela Hotel in Hue as a 5-star hotel, valid for 5 years from the date of signing.
