On June 23rd, Hue Odonto-Stomatology Hospital officially launched a free reconstructive surgery program for patients with craniofacial deformities. The program, held from June 23rd to 27th, is part of the hospital’s Surgery Week and is conducted in collaboration with ReSurge International organization (USA).

On June 20 and 21, at the the Training Center of Hue Central Hospital, the Neurosurgery Conference for Training Doctos and the Vietnam Neurosurgical Nursing Conference took place. The events were organized by the Vietnam Neurosurgical Society in collaboration with Hue Central Hospital.

That was the theme of the national-level scientific conference organized on June 21 by the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Hue City (Union of Associations) in collaboration with the Department of Health, the Department of Science and Technology, Hue Central Hospital, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, the Public Health and Preventive Medicine Association, and the Infectious Diseases Association of the city. The event gathered leading experts in health, environment, and agriculture - forestry from Vietnam and abroad.

Over two days (June 20 - 21), Hue City’s Cardiology Association, in collaboration with the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, the Union of Science and Technology Associations of the City, Hue Central Hospital, and Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy’s Hospital, organized the 4th Ancient Capital Congress of Cardiology.

On June 19, Hue Central Hospital (HCH) reported that the hospital had simultaneously and successfully carried out four transplants: heart, liver, and cornea across the country. Four new lives were made possible thanks to the organ donation from a single father from Phu Yen.

From June 11 to 13, Hue Central Hospital, in collaboration with the French-Vietnamese Respiratory Association (AFVP), organized an advanced training course on sleep disorders. The program aimed to update and enhance knowledge of sleep disorders for doctors and nurses from healthcare facilities across the country.

On June 9th, Hue Central Hospital held a ceremony to present the title of Outstanding Scientist in Science and Technology to Professor Kenneth D. Montgomery, an expert in arthroscopic surgery and President of Orthonations (USA).

On the afternoon of June 6, the Board of Directors of Hue Central Hospital held a discharge ceremony to celebrate the success of a liver transplant case. This was the hospital’s second pediatric liver transplant and the third cross-country liver transplant performed by the hospital, marking another milestone in humanitarian medical achievements and extending the hope of life for children suffering from severe liver diseases.

On the afternoon of June 1, Hue Central Hospital organized the “Festival of Love" program for pediatric patients receiving treatment at the Pediatric Center. The aim was to bring meaningful gifts and spread love to all the children undergoing treatment at the hospital on the occasion of International Children's Day on June 1.

On the afternoon of May 30, Hue Central Hospital announced that it had successfully discharged its 16th cross-country heart transplant patient, notably, the first female patient to receive a cross-country heart transplant at the facility.
