According to the information from the Department of Culture and Sports, Thua Thien Hue for the first time is honored to have 3 athletes in the official squad for ASIAD 19, including Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhi and 2 sisters Nguyen Thi My Hanh and Nguyen Thi My Trang.

For the first 8 months of 2023, the tourism industry has made a rapid recovery with 1.6 times as many visitors to Hue as the figure for the same period last year.
