On July 7, Hue Central Hospital announced that the unit had successfully removed a safety pin from the esophagus of a 9-month-old Kazakh patient.

To ensure the health and safety of candidates participating in and those involving in the High School Graduation Examination this year, the City’s Department of Health has rolled out a series of measures covering healthcare services, disease prevention and control, and food safety during the exam period.

This is the theme of the Action Month for Children 2026, launched by the People's Committee of Thanh Thuy Ward on the morning of June 4. The program aims to raise awareness and strengthen the responsibility of authorities at all levels, sectors, families, and society as a whole in caring for, educating, and protecting children.

On June 2nd, the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with Care for Children organization, held a working session on the implementation of a project to strengthen family-based alternative care for children in special circumstances during the 2026 - 2028 period in Hue. On the evening of May 29, at Bao Vinh Ancient Town (Hoa Chau Ward), the City People's Committee organized the launching ceremony for the Action Month for Children 2026 under the theme “Happy and safe children confidently stepping into the digital era”.

The training course on implementing the “Safe Swimming and Drowning Prevention” Program 2026, organized by the city’s Department of Culture and Sports in coordination with the Vietnam Sports Administration (the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), officially opened on the morning of April 17 at 12 Hung Vuong Street (Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City).
