About 100 patients with congenital defects such as cleft lip, cleft palate, maxillofacial defects... received surgeries, being given the confidence to integrate into the community...

Within the framework of cooperation between Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, Operation International (OI), the United States, and Design Capital Asia (DCA), doctors would perform surgeries for patients with cleft lip and cleft palate from September 11 to 15.

The training cooperation signing ceremony took place on the afternoon of August 10 at Hue Central Hospital.

On June 26, Prof. Michelle Hermiston from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF, USA) visited and collaborated with Hue Central Hospital to organize a training course on “Hematopoietic stem-cell transplantation in cancer, benign blood diseases and congenital immunodeficiency”.

On the morning of June 9, doctors from the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Pediatrics Center, Hue Central Hospital said that after a week of intensive treatment, they saved the life of pediatric patient Truong Phuc G. H. (11 years old, Vy Da Ward, Hue City) had fulminant myocarditis with complications of cardiogenic shock and ventricular fibrillation by Veno-Arterial Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (VA-ECMO).

On May 15, Hue Dental Hospital in collaboration with ReSurge International (USA) and professors, doctors from The Buncke Clinic San Francisco organized screening for patients with hand deformities.
