On the evening of June 7, in the historically, culturally, and architecturally significant space of Kien Trung Palace, Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024 officially commenced. Hue has begun a vibrant, colorful, and musical festival season welcoming visitor from all over the world.

The poster of Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024 features Hue purple color for its background combined with iconic images such as Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, the parasol tree, dragons, the sun and the moon… showcasing the richness and uniqueness of Hue's culture.

Strong growth in the number of international visitors, as well as recognition from the press and the world’s leading prestigious tourism organizations, open up opportunities for Hue to put a spotlight on its tourism. My childhood was marked with the image of my mother stroking her ao dai flat before going out (Ao dai is traditional costume for women (and men) in Vietnam.)
