On the morning of March 29, “A Luoi Highland Spring Colors Festival” 2025 officially opened at the Communal House in the Ethnic Minority Culture Village of A Luoi District (Hong Thanh Commune). The event attracted a large number of ethnic minorities and tourists from both inside and outside the province to experience the unique cultural space of the mountainous region.

In March, when you visit Bach Ma National Park, you will experience a spring filled with the colors of rhododendrons, bellflowers, and the lingering golden hues of the liquidambar formosana leaves standing out in the misty air.

Hue garden houses always carry a distinct charm, blending aristocratic elegance with traditional colors. “Coloring heritage” and “Hue Art Memory Game” featuring traditional Vietnamese motifs from the Nguyen Dynasty are part of the “Heritage education” program for 2024, jointly organized by Hue Monuments Conservation Center and GEKE (German society for the Preservation of cultural heritage). The program is held at Phung Tien Temple in Hue Imperial Citadel and is entirely free for children.

Hue is colorful on the days near Mid-Autumn Festival. Hundreds of unicorn heads, together with accessories and props displayed for sale along the street have attracted buyers and wanderers.

On the afternoon of August 20, Hue City Center for Culture, Information, and Sports in collaboration with the Colors of the Mekong Delta ART club opened a fine arts exhibition themed “Colors of the Mekong Delta” 2024.

Hue puts on the most brilliant red shirt of flamboyant flowers in late June and early July. The roads, street corners, and rice fields are all adorned with the fiery colors of flamboyant flowers. That red color gives Hue a brilliant and captivating beauty.

There is a unique dish sold only during summer in Hue, with a cool, refreshing flavor that helps to cool down the body. It's called bún giấm nuốc (vinegar blue jellyfish noodles). Hue's noodle dishes are famously diverse and abundant, too numerous to count on one's ten fingers, with each type having its distinct color and flavor that's hard to confuse with others.

Born and raised in Hai Duong commune (Hue City), Dao Nguyen Tai (born in 2002), a student of Applied Arts Department at University of Arts, Hue University, has quietly expressed his love for Hue through lines, colors, and images. Tai's passionate and creative paintings have contributed to spreading the beauty of the Ngu Mountain and Perfume River region.

The skillful and unique art performances from domestic and international art troupes gathering in Hue have created a bustling and colorful Hue Festival 2024. Wherever art troupes pass by, it is like a bustling stage with drums, artists' laughter, and prolonged applause from tourists and people of Hue.
