On the afternoon of January 23, immediately following the closing session of the 14th National Congress of Delegates of the Communist Party of Vietnam, an international press conference was held at the Congress Press Center to announce the results of the 14th Party Congress. The conference was chaired by General Secretary of the 14th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, To Lam.

After five days of urgent, serious, effective, and responsible work, the closing session of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam was held on the afternoon of January 23rd at the National Convention Center in Hanoi capital city.

Despite being widely recognized for its deep-rooted football tradition, Hue has struggled for years with the thorny issue of retaining young talents. Numerous players nurtured by local training centers have moved on upon reaching a critical stage of development, steadily eroding the pool of successors for Hue football.

On the morning of January 17, Tuoi Tre Newspaper, in collaboration with the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training), the Department of Education and Training of Hue City, Hue University, and Hue City Youth Union jointly organized the 2026 Admissions and Career Counseling Program at Hue City Youth Activity Center.

On the afternoon of January 16th, a working delegation from Ha Tinh Province, led by Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, had a working session with the People’s Committee of Hue City to exchange and learn from experience in the management, investment, and operation of smart urban development models and modern, sustainable household solid waste treatment.

On the afternoon of January 15, the City’s Sports Training and Competition Center held a review and commendation ceremony honoring coaches and athletes who were awarded prestigious State titles and achieved outstanding results at the 33rd SEA Games.

On the afternoon of January 14th, at the National Convention Center in My Dinh, Hanoi, a ceremony was held to inaugurate the Press Center, along with an international press conference on the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The year 2026, the first year of implementing Resolution 72-NQ/TW on breakthrough solutions for protecting and improving public health, marks a new turning point for healthcare in Hue City. Building on the strong foundation of Hue Central Hospital, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University; and a primary healthcare system undergoing comprehensive reform, Hue is steadily affirming its position as a center for advanced, specialized medical care, with a vision toward becoming a regional hub in Southeast Asia.

On the afternoon of January 12, Hue City Employment Service Center held a conference to deploy its tasks for 2026, combined with a celebration of its 35th anniversary.

This was the directive of the Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, at the conference reviewing the 2025 work results and deploying tasks for 2026 of Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC), held on the afternoon of January 9th. ​
