The “Imprints of Hue Buddhist Heritage” exhibition, part of a series of activities celebrating Vesak 2570 of the Buddhist calendar (2026 Gregorian calendar), officially opened on the afternoon of May 24 at Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center (15A Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa Ward).

A consultation workshop on finalizing policies to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) was jointly organized on May 18th by the Agency for Private Enterprise and Collective Economy Development under the Ministry of Finance and the International Labor Organization.

The National 3x3 Basketball Championship for Strong Teams and U20 2026 officially opened on the evening of May 10 at Aeon Mall Hue Shopping Center.

On May 5, following the directives of the City People’s Committee and in line with Resolution 55/2025/NQ-HĐND, Hue Monuments Conservation Center announced a pilot program to verify eligibility for the beneficiaries of reduced heritage entrance fees via the e-ticketing system.

On the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026), on April 29, under authorization, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Nguyen Van Manh visited and presented gifts from General Secretary and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam to meritorious beneficiaries currently being cared for at Hue City Center for Nursing and Care for People with Meritorious Service.

On the evening of April 24, Hue City Intelligent Operations Center (HueIOC) held a ceremony to mark its 20th anniversary of establishment and development (April 27, 2006 - April 27, 2026).

From April 22 to 24, the Zhi Shan Foundation, in collaboration with the Social Work and Child Protection Center, and local authorities, organized scholarship award ceremonies for studious students overcoming difficulties across the city.
