Hue City’s budget revenue is entering a phase of strong momentum, with a revenue structure becoming increasingly diversified and sustainable. Alongside traditional sources such as textiles and garments, beer production and tourism, the rapid growth of industrial sectors is opening up significant new drivers for local budget growth.

On the morning of December 30, Hue City Department of Home Affairs reported that in 2025, wages, bonuses, and labor relations at businesses across the city remained broadly stable. Workers’ salaries and Lunar New Year bonuses continued to rise compared to the previous year, with no cases of wage arrears recorded.

On the morning of December 29, the Department of Science and Technology held a scientific workshop themed “Analysis and Proposed Solutions to Enhance Local Innovation Index (PII), Digital Transformation, and Develop Hue City’s Innovative Startup Ecosystem for the 2026-2030 period”.

Along with social welfare activities, banks in the area have been surveying the damage sustained by customers affected by floods. Based on this, they proposed timely support measures to help residents and businesses overcome difficulties.

On the morning of November 20th, at Hue City Employment Service Center, the Department of Employment (Ministry of Home Affairs), in coordination with the National Employment Service Center and Employment Service Centers in regional localities, organized an offline-online hybrid job fair, simultaneously connecting with Quang Tri, Da Nang, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, and Quang Ngai. On November 19th, leaders of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City received donations from representatives of Mitani Sangyo Group, who visited Hue City and presented 200 million VND to support Hue people in recovering from the recent flood.

The working delegation of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam), led by Mr. Le Manh Hung, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of the Members’ Council of the Group, visited and presented 5 billion VND in support to help the people of Hue City overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

After the historic flooding season in late October 2025, while various areas were still deeply submerged in water, thousands of workers had to temporarily stop working, businesses in Hue City promptly stepped in to share the burden, from providing cash support, salary advances, and safe accommodations to help workers overcome difficulties and quickly stabilize production.
