More than simply a meeting place for buyers and sellers, Hue Agricultural Products Fair 2026 brings the flavors, produce and stories of rural communities closer to local residents and visitors.

The City Historical Science Association set out this goal at its 7th Congress (2026 - 2031 term), held on August 25.

At noon on August 23, the 2nd Capital Cup-2026 - Hue Dancesport Festival officially kicked off at Aeon Mall Hue. As part of Hue Sports Festival 2026, the tournament was jointly held by Hue Talent Club, Hoang Sy Clubs, LTD Danang Recreational Sport Choreography Company Limited, and Aeon Mall Hue.

On the afternoon of August 19th, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Le Tri Thanh led a delegation on a field trip to inspect investment and production activities at Chan May - Lang Co Economic Zone and Phu Bai Industrial Park. Among Vietnamese cities, Hue stands out as an ideal city to build a future "15-Minute City." There, all daily essential needs of residents - such as work, education, shopping, healthcare, entertainment, and relaxation - can be reached within a 15-minute walk or bicycle ride. This idea is currently being pursued and researched by female architect Tran Thi Quynh Huong, a young Hue native dedicated to sustainable urban development.

On the morning of August 14th, Hue City Association of the Blind held a ceremony marking the 20th anniversary of the Vocational Training and Employment Center for the Blind (August 17th, 2006 - August 17th, 2026). Over the past two decades, the Center has made sustained efforts in vocational training and job creation, helping people with visual impairments gradually build confidence, become more self-reliant, and achieve greater stability in their lives.

Hue Festival has established the city as a prominent destination on the international cultural map. With Wonderverse Music Fest, Hue is taking a new approach: using music, technology, and creativity to tell the story of its heritage while aiming to build a distinctive festival intellectual property (IP) that will become a signature brand for the city.

On August 9, at Ecogarden urban area in Vy Da Ward, Hue City, representatives of the investor consortium, led by Cotana Capital Investment and Real Estate Development JSC (Cotana Capital), held a ceremony to inaugurate and hand over apartments at W1 - West Sky (OXH1) building to residents.

On the afternoon of July 28, a working delegation from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, led by Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong, held a working session with Hue City People’s Committee on coordinating the implementation of the Project to build and promote the national brand ‘Vietnam Photography City’.

Recently, the tourism industry has coordinated with functional units to strengthen management work, pay attention to tourists' feedback to promptly handle many violations.
