On January 20th, the Department of Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Department of Intellectual Property and the Ministry of Science and Technology, held a ceremony of announcing, awarding and receiving the Protective Certificate of “Hue” Geographical Indication for Thanh Tra grapefruits of Thua Thien Hue province.

The awarding ceremony was held on the night of December 2, in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of guests and locals involving in creating the artwork. The Map of Vietnam made by BOARC art style set the record with the largest number of participants from the Northern, Central, and Southern regions.

On the afternoon of November 27, Hue University coordinated with the Japan Economic Federation (Keidanren) and the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) to award scholarships to students overcoming difficulties of Hue University.

Thua Thien Hue has the most dishes honored in Phase I of the project, including Hue beef noodle soup, tapioca dumpling stuffed with roasted pork sweet soup, mussel rice, tapioca dumplings, vegetarian fig salad, and vegetarian steamed rice wrapped in lotus leaf.

On the evening of November 7th, the Vietnamese Cuisine Culture Association held a ceremony to announce and present certificates for the outstanding culinary dishes of Thua Thien Hue province in phase I – 2022, and launched the nomination voting for the second phase in 2023 of the “Journey to discover the typical cultural value of Vietnam’s cuisine”, and awarding membership certificates to the Culinary Culture Association of Thua Thien Hue.

On the afternoon of October 20th, Tuoi Tre Newspaper, in coordination with Thua Thien Hue Provincial Youth Union, held a ceremony to award “Support to School” scholarships to 72 new students currently facing challenging life circumstances in the province.

The ceremony to award Vallet scholarship 2023 to excellent students held by the “Meeting Vietnam” Organization has just taken place at Duyen Thi Duong, Hue Imperial Citadel.

On the morning of July 3, at the University of Sciences, Hue University, the closing and awarding ceremony of the Hue-ICT Challenge 2023 – Information Technology Innovation product competition for students of colleges and universities took place.

On the afternoon of April 25, the Provincial Study Promotion Association coordinated with Nguyen Chi Thanh Talent Promotion Scholarship Fund, the Department of Education and Training and Vietcombank – Hue branch held a ceremony to award to students winning high prizes in national and international competitions.

On the afternoon of December 29, the Union of Literature and Arts held a program to honor artists and award excellent literature and art works in 2022.
