On April 25, Phong Dinh Ward organized the “Old Scent of the Ancient Village” Festival, featuring a variety of unique cultural and artistic activities that attracted a large number of locals and visitors to visit and experience.

In the artistic space of Boi Tran Garden during the final days of March, an exhibition was held for the first time that was not only a source of inspiration for artists alone. For the art-loving public, it felt like a grand masterpiece - one that harmoniously blends people with nature.

With the exhibition themed “Hue's intangible cultural heritage - Inspiring creativity and development”, Hue City Museum of History showcased the cultural beauty and artistic essence of the Ancient Capital to domestic friends.

Combining artistic expression with refined sculpting skills, Nguyen Thi Quynh Nhu, a pastry chef born in 1995, is creating vivid “blooming flowers” on each of her cakes.

Without the need for large-scale promotional campaigns, many young people are turning to social media as their own way to tell stories about Hue. From short videos and everyday imagery to artistic projects, the image of the former imperial capital is gradually reaching the public in a more vivid and relatable way.

Now in its fifth year, Hue has been hosting the Four Seasons Festival (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter). Instead of concentrating activities within a few peak days as in the past, the Hue Four Seasons Festival is implemented under a new model, featuring a continuous series of cultural, artistic and tourism events throughout the year to honor heritage, promote tourism and create new experiences for visitors.

Aedus Crew, a young and energetic dance group, is gradually making its mark on the artistic life of the Ancient capital. Behind its high-energy performances are students from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University.

“Afternoon in My Homeland” was not only an artistic program commemorating the late musician Trinh Cong Son, but also a gathering of kindred spirits who share a deep affinity for his music.

Offering both a fresh artistic experience and a way to preserve the vibrant emotions of spring, the workshop on paintings to hang up for Tet led by young artist Tuyet Loan at An Yen Station (Phu Xuan Ward) has become a tranquil gathering place where participants immerse themselves in radiant brushstrokes.

While horses in the paintings of artist Le Ba Dang encompass a full range of emotions, diverse artistic techniques, and span multiple creative periods, the horses depicted by today’s later-generation artists likewise reveal distinctive, strongly individual styles.

As a unique handmade product that combines both the art of mixing and shaping, the artistic powder flowers require both the meticulousness and ingenuity of the hands.

From his passionate love for literature and art, Bao Cuong created an art space and set up a library to contribute to improving the cultural and spiritual life of the locals.
