Literature and art enthusiasts in Hue are being on a journey to rediscover well-known short stories by Nguyen Huy Thiep, not through books, but through artworks of ceramic created by the writer himself and artists who admire him.

There is a female “warrior of the pen” who has spread the love for life and positivity with a heart full of affection and deep gratitude. That is Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Ha (Group 5, An Cuu Ward, Thuan Hoa District, Hue City), a member of Hue Writers’ Association.

The generation of national literary writers born in the Year of the Snake in Hue left a notable mark with many respected authors. Each one brought their own distinctive qualities, enriching and beautifying the literature of the region, making the cultural identity of Hue even stronger. This became even clearer and stronger when Hue became a centrally governed city.

On the evening of February 11th, at No. 1 Phan Boi Chau street, the Full Moon Poetry Night - At Ty Spring 2025 took place, organized by Hue Writers’ Association.

On the morning of November 17, Kim Dong Publishing House in collaboration with Hue City Center of Culture, Information and Sports, and Club of Book and Hue Culture held a program “Hue people tell stories about Hue”, featuring an exchange with writer and journalist Phi Tan, the researcher Le Vu Truong Giang on the occasion of launching the book “Hue people tell stories about Hue” and “Students over the Tam Giang Lagoon”.

In the space of Hue French Institute at No.1 Le Hong Phong Str, the famous French fiction writer Bernard Werber had an exchange with the readers of the ancient capital and introduced two of his favorite works: “Ant Trilogy” and “Pandora’s Box”.

The Provincial Union of Literature and Arts Associations organized a program to award and honor writers and artists on the morning of December 27th 2023 to honor writers and artists who have won international, domestic, regional, annual awards of the Union of Arts and Literature Associations, or other prestigious national awards.

This is the season of winter days with early-coming northeast wind, fine weather, and light sunshine. This is also the season overflowing with emotions for photographers and writers, etc.

Ms. Julie Lardon, a journalist and also a writer, in collaboration with Hue French Institute and Kim Dong Publishing House, organized the workshop themed “Quel Avenir Pour Nous?” (What future is for us?) in Hue.

While the article about the book "Echoes of the Truong Son" (Thuan Hoa Publishing House, 2023) was being prepared when I included it in the collection of essays "Life's Many Paths" (Writers Association Publishing House, 2023), from Ho Chi Minh City, Mrs. Dam Thu continuously sent touching feedback to Hue about the work that she had just "poured her efforts" into completing.
