On the afternoon of March 27th, at Hue City People’s Committee, the organizing committee of Hue Festival 2025 held a signing ceremony for the sponsorship contract with DOJI Gold, Silver, and Gemstone Group Joint Stock Company, awarding them the title of “Diamond Sponsor” for sponsoring 5 billion VND to Hue Festival 2025.

On October 28, Mr. Tran Xuan Vinh, Chairman of Thua Thien Hue Association of fellow-countrymen in Ho Chi Minh City said that the association held a poetry and music gala titled “Little love for Hue”, which raised 600 million VND to support community projects in hometown area.

On the afternoon of October 19, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy held a scholarship award ceremony for 200 students. These scholarships were provided by the Mai Dolch Scholarship Fund (the USA).

On the morning of September 29, the project of Hue – Plastic Reduction Urban in the Central region of Vietnam, funded by WWF-Norway (through WWF-Vietnam and received by the People’s Committee of Hue City) in collaboration with the People’s Committee of Hue City organized a ceremony to hand over 2 garbage trucks worth nearly 10 billion VND.

On September 27, University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University held the opening ceremony for the 58th course of the academic year of 2024 - 2025.

On the morning of April 6th, Hue Central Hospital solemnly organized the groundbreaking ceremony for Hue Central International Hospital 2.

For the first 8 months of 2023, the tourism industry has made a rapid recovery with 1.6 times as many visitors to Hue as the figure for the same period last year. In particular, international visitor arrivals were estimated to reach 672,000 - a 9-fold increase year-on-year. Total revenue from tourism activities has been estimated at 4,600 billion VND, 1.6 times as high asin the same period last year.

On July 7, leaders of the Project Management Board on Improving Hue City Water Environment informed that the unit has started implementing the construction of the walking path along the Nhu Y River (Hue City) through the capital of nearly 260 billion VND sponsored by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
