Dozens of displaying booths promoting the culture and tourism of provinces and cities across the country gathered in Hue to participate in the exhibition themed “Space for Tourism, Cultural Heritage, Landmarks, and Traditional Handicraft Products of Vietnam”.

With the theme “Vietnamese Culinary Exchange”, the Hue - Culinary Capital festival is not only an activity within the framework of the National Tourism Year and Hue Festival 2025 but also an opportunity to showcase, promote, and elevate the culinary culture.

Hue Students Football Tournament 2025, competing for the Ba Na Hills Cup, kicked off in the afternoon of April 15 at the football field of Phu Xuan District’s Culture, Information & Sports Center (150 Nguyen Trai Street). Decision No. 3979/QD-BVHTTDL dated December 10, 2024 of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has recognized the “Van Cu noodle-making craft” being in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List under the Traditional Handicraft category. This serves as a foundation for building an intangible cultural heritage profile with a national and international vision for Bun Hue (Hue noodles) culinary heritage in the coming time.

Within the closing ceremony of the Visit Vietnam Year - Dien Bien 2024 on the evening of December 22, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong and the leaders of Dien Bien Province handed over the flag to Thua Thien Hue Province to host the Visit Vietnam Year 2025.

On the afternoon of December 18, a National Scientific Conference themed “Promoting the value of Hue traditional music in cultural and tourism development” took place at Saigon Morin Hotel. The conference was jointly organized by Thua Thien Hue Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations and relevant agencies.

On December 11, representatives of the provincial Department of Culture and Sports informed that the Minister of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism announced the decision to include the Hue Nam Temple Festival (Huong Tho Commune, Hue City) and Van Cu noodle-making craft (Huong Toan Commune, Huong Tra Town) in the list of National Intangible Cultural Heritage.
