Taking advantage of candied fruits, nuts, and dishes to relieve boredom after Tet, many young people have researched and learned how to make nougat to contribute more luck and wish them well for the first days of the new year.

Thousands of locals and tourists from everywhere gathered on the foot of Ngu Phong Mountain, An Tay ward, Hue City to attend the Huyen Tran Temple Festival opened on the morning of the 9th day of Tet (January 30) at Huyen Tran Cultural Center.

The period before Tet is always the busiest and also the most memorable time of a year.

With the vegetable growers, taking care and harvesting vegetables, especially the year-round-harvested ones on the rainy days and Tet days are the same. They always leave their homes from 11:00 p.m., and come back on around 2:00 a.m., on the day after with the sleepless faces and calloused hands covered in mud.
