On the night of March 29, Hue City Youth Center, in coordination with Hue University Youth Union and Thuan Hoa Ward Youth Union, organized the 2026 “Rewinding Youth time” for students across the area.

Kicking off Hue Ao Dai Week 2026, scheduled to take place from July 3 to 10, is the event “Ao dai Connecting Tourism and Heritage”, which will be held on the morning of July 3 at the Quoc Tu Giam area.

March - the month marking the anniversary of the founding of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26th, 1931 - March 26th, 2026), is also the peak period for voluntary activities directed toward the community by youth union members and young people.

The Phui (“Freestyle”) Hue Gala (Phui Hue Awards) 2025 took place on the afternoon of March 28th at Hue Industrial College. The event was jointly organized by Twin Media and Co Do Media to honor outstanding individuals and teams who contributed to the vibrant development of grassroots football in Hue City over the past year.

On March 28th, at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School, the Department of Education and Training, in coordination with the City Chess Federation and the City Sports Training and Competition Center, organized the primary school chess tournament for the 2025-2026 academic year, competing for Huong Giang Cup.

After a three-week artist residency in Hue, on the afternoon of March 27, South Korean artist Sunyoung Park presented her artworks to the public in an exhibition titled “Nostalgia is not what it seems”.

With the exhibition themed “Hue's intangible cultural heritage - Inspiring creativity and development”, Hue City Museum of History showcased the cultural beauty and artistic essence of the Ancient Capital to domestic friends.

On March 28, the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University hosted the Korean Language and Culture Festival 2026 in Central Vietnam - a gathering for Korean language training institutions across the region.

On the afternoon of March 27th, more than 150 entrepreneurs and businesses in the city participated in “Vietnam’s Economy and Policies in the New Context: Solutions for Businesses” seminar, updating economic trends and exploring adaptive strategies for the new phase.

A ceremony marking the 80th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27th, 1946 – March 27th, 2026), organized by the Department of Culture and Sports, was held on the afternoon of March 27 at the City Culture and Cinema Center. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee, attended and extended congratulations and encouragement.
