Growing up from the fields, steeped in rustic flavors of the countryside - “salty fermented vegetables, sour white eggplant”, yet it was not until my late forties that I first heard of mut ca phao (white eggplant preserves) from Hue. The humble eggplant, so familiar on simple family meals, appears here in an entirely unfamiliar form - a delicately beautiful preserves for the Lunar New Year.

On January 23rd, the Department of Finance, in coordination with the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Luxembourg Project Management Unit, the Technical Assistance Office of Project VIE/039, and Musa Pacta Joint Stock Company, organized a workshop to assess the results and development potential of the banana value chain in Hue City.

On the afternoon of January 23rd, the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University held a graduation ceremony and awarded doctoral, master’s, engineer and veterinarian degrees for Phase 1 of 2026.
