On October 5, Tuoi Tre Newspaper, in coordination with Hue City Youth Union, organized the “Supporting students to school” scholarship awarding ceremony with the theme “One aspiration - Ten thousand hearts” for 89 new students in Hue City who face difficult circumstances with strong determination.

One had planned to put aside her dream of studying, the other had lost both parents, yet both top-score female students were able to step into the university lecture hall thanks to the dedication and support of the lecturers at Hue University of Education.

This was a key focus at the event “Tech Startup Day: Connecting the Technology Startup Ecosystem in Hue”, organized by the Hue Innovation Hub on August 29.

On the afternoon of February 28th, Hue City and Grab Vietnam signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to implement programs and initiatives supporting the city’s digital transformation goals.

Although it has been officially operational for less than six months, the Provincial Trade and Investment Promotion, and Business Support Center (now under Hue centrally-governed municipality), with predetermined functions and missions, has made significant contributions to supporting businesses in trade promotion and resolving various challenges and obstacles.

On the afternoon of October 9, at Thanh Nien Guest House, Tuoi Tre newspaper coordinated with Thua Thien Hue Provincial Youth Union to organize the "Tiep Suc Den Truong" scholarship awarding ceremony for 91 new students with difficult circumstances from Thua Thien Hue (82 new students) and Quang Ngai (9 new students).

To prepare for the upcoming final round of the Provincial Innovation Startup Competition 2024, on September 30, the Department of Science and Technology held a training session for representatives of 15 ideas and projects competing in the final round of this competition.

In mid-August 2024, the Center for Supporting Literary and Artistic Creation under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism organized the 2024 Creative Camp for 15 artists from Thua Thien Hue at the Nha Trang Art Creation House.

The “Romantic features in the ancient village”painting contest, organized by the project supportingViet Nam’s social impact business ecosystemin response to COVID-19 (ISEE-COVID) in collaboration with the Department of Planning and Investment, is currently running from June 30th to July 13th, 2024, at Phuoc Tich ancient village, Phong Hoa commune, Phong Dien district.

Dissemination information on border security and maritime sovereignty; providing guidance on communication methods when fishermen encounter difficulties at sea; as well as supporting students in drug prevention; sharing good ways to do business, and giving national Flags to locals, etc., are significant actions that are regularly done by Thua Thien Hue border defense force.
