On the morning of August 30, over 4,500 delegates and residents gathered at the Hue City Culture and Sports Square to take part in the “Together with Vietnam, Moving Forward” walking program. The event shared the same atmosphere of excitement, enthusiasm, and solemnity with 34 provinces and cities nationwide, spreading the message ‘10 Billion Green Steps - For a Sustainable Vietnam’ and promoting the spirit of national solidarity.

From August 25 to 27, an intensive training program for Happy School trainers for the 2026-2027 academic year was held in Hue, bringing together a core team of education officials and teachers. The short film ‘Trong Thuc’ (‘The Drumbeat of Awakening’) is a project created by a team of students in Hue. By approaching tuong through the language of cinema, these young people are exploring new approaches to preserving and spreading cultural heritage.

As part of the Summer Festival - Hue Festival 2026, the “Lang Co - World Beautiful Bay 2026” program will be held in June with a series of special activities. This is not only an opportunity to promote and spread the value of Lang Co Bay, but also to create distinctive tourism products, thereby stimulating tourism demand.

On the morning of May 29, the Department of Tourism, in collaboration with the project “Hue - A plastic-reduced smart city in Central Vietnam” (TVA) project/WWF-Viet Nam, organized the event “From Check-in Green Hue to Plastic-Free Tourism - A Journey of Spreading”.

Behind each little cake were care, creativity, and gentle skills, helping children fall in love with the family kitchen and feel proud of Hue’s culinary culture.
