Vietnam’s sepak takraw team has successfully defended its title, winning 7 gold medals, 1 silver medal, and 1 bronze medal at the 2026 World Sepak Takraw Championships, held from August 25 to 30 in the Federal Republic of Germany.

On the afternoon of August 25th, Mr. Chu Minh Tuan – Coach of Hue City Jujitsu team, said that following the conclusion of the 2026 Southeast Asian Ju-Jitsu Championship and Junior Championship, Vietnam topped the overall standings with 120 gold, 113 silver and 112 bronze medals, with Hue City Ju-Jitsu team making a notable contribution.

Hue City's school sports delegation won 28 medals, including one Gold, 10 Silver and 17 Bronze medals, at the 2026 National School Sports Games, held in Lam Dong Province from June 20 to 30.

At the 2025 National Student Vovinam Championship held from October 19th to 25th in Vinh Long, the Vovinam team of Hue University excellently won 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal, and 2 bronze medals.

Bui Hoang Dai Duong, a student at Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted, recently brought pride to his hometown by winning a Silver Medal at the 2025 International Biology Olympiad (IBO). Behind the glory lies a tireless journey of perseverance and overcoming challenges to reach a big dream.

On the evening of July 29, at Phu Bai International Airport, teachers and students of Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted warmly welcomed Bui Hoang Dai Duong, a 12th-grade Biology-major class, who had just returned after winning a Silver Medal at the 2025 International Biology Olympiad (IBO) held in the Philippines.

On the night of July 26, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the results of the Vietnamese national team participating in the 2025 International Biology Olympiad (IBO) held in the Philippines. Bui Hoang Dai Duong, a 12th-grade student from Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted won a Silver Medal.

According to information from the Ministry of Education and Training, at the 55th International Physics Olympiad (IPhO 2025), held in Paris, France from July 17th to 25th, Tran Le Thien Nhan from Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted not only won a Silver Medal but was also named one of five global recipients of the “STEM for All” award presented by the Thales Group (France).

Participating in the 55th International Physics Olympiad (IPhO), held in Paris, France, the Vietnamese national team of five students all earned medals: one Gold and four Silver medals. Tran Le Thien Nhan, a student from Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted - Hue, was among the Silver Medalists.

After winning a Silver Medal at 2025 Asian Physics Olympiad held in Saudi Arabia, Tran Le Thien Nhan (a 12th-grade student from the Physics Class 2 for gifted students) was once again selected by the Ministry of Education and Training as a member of the national team to participate in 2025 International Physics Olympiad.
