The conference introduced and transferred technologies to individuals, units, and agricultural production enterprises in the province.

Hue - Tien Phong cajeput oil, a high-quality product developed by Tien Phong one member State Limited Company (Tien Phong Company), has been successfully produced as part of a science and technology project commissioned by the provincial People's Committee. This product is not only praised for its health benefits but also highlights the cultural and natural values of the Ancient Capital.

On the evening of May 17th, the provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations (HUSTA) held the 8th annual ceremony to honor distinguished science and technology (S&T) intellectuals in 2024.

Within the framework of the implementation of the national-level independent project on “Studying and evaluating the current status of the avifauna, and proposing solutions for management and conservation of bird species in coastal lagoon area in Central Vietnam”, which is presided over by the Central Coast Natural History Museum, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and implemented by Dr. Ho Thang, the project leader, the research team has recorded the glossy ibis (Plegadis falcinellus) for the first time in the O Lau estuary of Tam Giang - Cau Hai lagoon.

The Provincial Union of Scientific and Technical Associations, representing the Provincial Technical Innovation Contest organizing committe, has just released information on Thua Thien Hue’s participation and achievements at the 17th National Technical Innovation Competition (2022-2023) and the Science and Technology Innovation Awards of Vietnam in 2023.
