On the afternoon of January 31st, the Department of Education and Training (DOET) organized the preliminary round to select outstanding students for the City-level English Debate Competition for High school students in the 2025-2026 academic year, held at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School.

On the afternoon of January 29th, Hue University of Sciences High School for Gifted Students organized an experiential activity titled “Hue Tuong masks - When art becomes heritage” for students. The program is part of the Local Education curriculum, aiming to help students gain a deeper understanding of local history and culture, thereby fostering love for their homeland and an awareness of the importance of respecting and preserving traditional cultural heritage values.

On the afternoon of January 25, Hoang Anh Minh, a student of class 11/4 at Nguyen Hue High School, participated in the first quarter competition of the “Road to Mount Olympia” program.

On January 24th, at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School, Hue City Department of Education and Training (DOET) organized the Secondary School Science and Engineering Competition for the 2025-2026 academic year.

As part of experiential education activities aligned with the national general education curriculum, on January 23, nearly 300 students from Hue University of Sciences High School for the Gifted visited the Museum of Nature in the Central Coastal Region (No. 5 Diem Phung Thi Street, Vy Da Ward) for study tours and hands-on learning experiences.

On the afternoon of January 19, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the results of the National High School Excellent Student Selection Exam for the academic year 2025 - 2026.

By securing a place in the Quarterly Round of Road to Mount Olympia Season 26, Hoang Anh Minh, a student of Class 11/4 at Nguyen Hue High School (Hue City), not only brought pride to his school but also spread the spirit of academic excellence of Hue students on the national intellectual stage.

On January 17, the counseling booth of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, at the 2026 Admissions and Career Counseling Fair, drew significant attention from a large number of high school students across Hue City and surrounding areas.

From January 15 to 18, the Department of Education and Training organized a training session on applying information technology and enhancing the capacity to implement STEM education, and experiential and career orientation activities for administrators and teachers from ethnic minority boarding schools in the area.

On the afternoon of January 12th, at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School, Hue City People’s Committee, in coordination with Vietnam National Industry and Energy Group (Petrovietnam), held an inauguration ceremony for a STEM Labs under the STEM Innovation Petrovietnam Program. Attending the event were Mr. Pham Duc Tien - Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang - Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee.
