On November 19, Hue City Department of Health held a working session with a survey delegation from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) to study and collect information for the development of the project of “Central Vietnam Healthcare Network Development”. This is considered an important initial step toward forming a large-scale cooperation project aimed at strengthening the healthcare system capacity in the Central region.

After 12 days of assisting the authorities and people of Hue City in overcoming the aftermath of heavy rains and floods, on the afternoon of November 11, over 500 officers and soldiers from Division 968 (Military Region 4) completed their mission and withdrew to their unit.

On the afternoon of November 4, Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh, Commander of Military Region 4, visited, inspected, encouraged, and presented gifts to the forces participating in the task of overcoming the aftermath of floods in Hue City.

The recent floods caused severe damage not only in lowland areas but also in mountainous regions. Local authorities are making every effort to repair infrastructure and supply food and clean water to isolated communities.

On October 31st, hundreds of officers and soldiers from the City Military Command and Division 968 (Military Region 4) were deployed to localities to assist residents in overcoming the aftermath of severe floods.

On the morning of October 29th, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired an online meeting with central provinces and cities including Hue, Da Nang, Quang Tri, and Quang Ngai to discuss emergency response measures to the extremely severe floods currently affecting the region.

Hue University has been affirming its role as a major training and scientific research center in the Central - Central Highlands region, and the whole country, through significant advancements in international cooperation.

The direct air route connecting Shenzhen and Da Nang has officially reopened after more than 5 years of interruption, bringing great expectations for tourism in Hue and the Central region.

The Coast Guard Region 2 Command, in coordination with the Department of Education and Training of Hue City, the Propaganda Department, and the Mass Mobilization Committee of Hue City Party Committee, has launched an online contest titled “I Love My Homeland’s Seas and Islands” for the 2025-2026 academic year. The contest is aimed at Secondary school students from seven coastal communes and wards in Hue City.

As part of the 5th Regional Conference of Organization of World Heritage Cities (OWHC) - Asia-Pacific Region, the discussion session on the afternoon of October 15th became one of the most notable highlights of the event. The exchange focused on policies, management experience, and solutions to improve quality of life in cities endowed with unique heritage values.
