From June 8th to 10th, Quang Dien District will host the Song nuoc Tam Giang (Tam Giang Water Wave) Festival as part of the activities celebrating Hue Festival 2024. The Nine Dynastic Urns were recognized as a National Treasure in 2012. On May 8, in the capital city of Mongolia, the “Bronze castings on the Nine Dynastic Urns at the Imperial Citadel of Hue” officially became a documentary heritage of UNESCO's Memory of the World Programme for the Asia - Pacific Region.

From May 6th to May 10th the plenary session of the Memory of the World Committee for Asia and the Pacific (MOWCAP 2024) will take place in Mongolia (MOWCAP 2024). This year, in the Asia-Pacific region, among the 20 submitted dossiers is the dossier about the Nine Dynastic Urns of the Nguyen Dynasty from Hue, Vietnam.

Eight years ago, on May 19, 2016, the heritage “Poetry and Literature on Hue Royal Architecture” (1802 - 1945) was recognized as a World Documentary Heritage in the Asia-Pacific region by the UNESCO Memory of the World Committee for Asia and the Pacific (MOWCAP).

Once again, Thua Thien Hue Karatedo took the throne with a spectacular return to the top at the 10th Central Region - Central Highlands Karatedo Championship in 2024. Also in late April, 2 athletes Le Van Tinh and Le Minh Thuan are part of the national team to compete at the Southeast Asian Championship in Thailand.
