The University of Foreign Languages, Hue University identifies international cooperation as a strategic direction to enhance the quality of foreign language training and develop high-quality human resources.

In the context of a heritage city that is gradually affirming its position as a distinctive cultural center of the country, the development of reading culture in Hue is no longer a purely promotional issue. Instead, it has become a strategic matter, closely associated with human quality, endogenous strength, and the city’s vision for sustainable development.

On April 22nd, a delegation from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) (the Federal Republic of Germany) visited, surveyed, and held a working session at Hue Industrial College. The event marks a new step forward in the college’s international cooperation in training high-quality technical human resources.

As the costs of raw materials and fuel continue to rise and market requirements become increasingly stringent, digitalization combined with green production is becoming an inevitable direction for many businesses and manufacturing facilities in Hue City. On the afternoon of March 12th, the Swiss Tourism for Sustainable Development Project in Vietnam officially signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with two leading tourism training institutions in central Vietnam: the School of Hospitality and Tourism - Hue University and Hue Tourism College. Attending the signing ceremony was Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh.

On the evening of January 30, Hue City Tourism Association held a meeting and launched the implementation of its work plan in 2026.

Recently, Hue has accelerated its development with the green economy as the central focus, in which the development of green industry is becoming a key pillar, contributing to improving the quality of growth in a sustainable direction.

On the afternoon of November 21st, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) held a workshop titled: “Solutions to Improve the Qualifications of Research work force, Technology, and Business Management Personnel to Apply and Master High Technology and Advanced Technology in Order to Increase Productivity and Quality of Key Products in the City, Aiming toward Developing National Products”. The discussion focused on solutions to elevate Hue cajeput essential oil into a national-level product.
