On March 28th, at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School, the Department of Education and Training, in coordination with the City Chess Federation and the City Sports Training and Competition Center, organized the primary school chess tournament for the 2025-2026 academic year, competing for Huong Giang Cup.

On the morning of March 20, at Phu An Secondary School, Hue City Association for the Protection of Children’s Rights, in coordination with the Department of Culture and Sports, organized the “Happiness for Children” communication program in response to the International Day of Happiness. The event drew the participation of representatives from various departments and agencies, local authorities, the school’s leadership board, parents, and 50 pairs of parents and students.

On the evening of March 14th, at the hall of Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School, the Institut Français de Hué, in coordination with Hue Vietnam - France Friendship Association and local educational institutions, organized Francophonie Night 2026. The activity is part of a series of events celebrating International Francophonie Day and attracted a large number of students.

On the afternoon of March 5th, a working delegation from the Standing Board of the City Party Committee, led by Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of Hue City Party Committee, visited and held a working session at Carlsberg Vietnam in Phu Bai. On the afternoon of February 10th, the Department of Education and Training organized the preliminary round for the city-level “Secondary English Debate Competition” to select outstanding students for the 2025-2026 school year at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School.

On the afternoon of February 4, Mr. Phan Quy Phuong, Standing Member of the City Party Committee and Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, held a courtesy reception for a delegation from Champasak Province (Lao People’s Democratic Republic). The delegation visited, extended Tet greetings, and congratulated the success of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, on January 31, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security, presented 400 Tet gift packages to poor households and those in difficult circumstances in An Cuu and Phu Xuan wards.
