Despite the cold and rainy weather, many people in Hue continued the tradition of visiting pagodas on the first day of the Lunar New Year to worship Buddha and pray for a peaceful and prosperous year.

Ancient chrysanthemums, a symbol frequently found in heritage structures, clothing, and jewelry of the Nguyen Dynasty, have left their traces but seem to have disappeared from Hue. Meanwhile, the appreciation for these flowers continues as a quiet passion among some "scholars of Ha Thanh".

During the 21 years of resistance against American aggression, the Party Committee, the people of A Luoi in particular, and those in Western Thua Thien Hue in general, achieved many glorious victories on the legendary Truong Son Road - Ho Chi Minh Trail.

An exhibition commemorating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025) and welcoming the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025 was organized by Hue City History Museum. On the afternoon of January 19th, the third annual Hue Yellow Apricot Festival - Masterpieces of Spring 2025 - was commenced at Thuong Bac Park (Tran Hung Dao Street, Phu Xuan District). This festival is dedicated to honoring Hue's signature flower, the Yellow Apricot Blossom.

On the afternoon of January 20, at Hue Central Hospital, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City in collaboration with the City’s Women Entrepreneurs Association, the Women’s Intellectuals Association of the hospital, the Hospital’s Women Affairs Committee, and the Social Work - Customer Service Department held a program titled “Spring of Love” for patients.

If effectively tapped, sports can become a “golden goose,” significantly contributing to the development and revenue growth of services and tourism in particular and the socioeconomic development of Hue in general.

On the afternoon of January 18, at the space of 23-25 Le Loi St., Thuan Hoa Ward, 40 children and their parents had a chance to join in an activity of experiencing cooking tet cakes to celebrate Tet holiday. This program was held by the Hue Book and Culture Club.

To celebrate the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3rd, 1930 - February 3rd, 2025) and create the joyful and exciting atmosphere to honor the glorious Party and welcome the Lunar New Year of the Snake, Thuan Hoa District will organize various activities to celebrate the Party and the Spring. These activities aim to meet the recreational needs of locals and tourists.

On the morning of January 14, Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company and Changan Automobile Group officially announced the plan to build the Kim Long Truong An Vietnam passenger car manufacturing plant (5-7 seats).
