On May 4, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, on behalf of the leadership and people of Hue City, sent a letter of appreciation to valued domestic and international visitors who chose Hue as their destination during the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day holiday and the holidays of Reunification Day (April 30) and International Workers' Day (May 1). 34 ancient books, many of which are rare and one-of-a-kind artifacts, are currently on display at the exhibition “Tales from ancient pages” at the Co Mat Vien - Tam Toa historical site. On the evening of May 1st, the People’s Committee of Hue City announced that, on the same day, the city’s heritage site system recorded the highest-ever number of visitors and ticket revenue in a single day. Whether by fate or extraordinary circumstance, within just 42 days, one tank company had the honor of participating in the liberation of all three major cities in southern Vietnam: Hue, Da Nang, and Saigon. Hue Central Hospital has successfully performed six organ transplants from a brain-dead donor, bringing life-saving and restorative opportunities to six critically ill patients. Transforming coffee from a simple beverage into a journey of discovery, the coffee-making workshop by Hue Experience on Hoang Quoc Viet Street (An Cuu Ward) has created an appealing highlight, attracting many foreign visitors to stop by and take part.
