Spreading the message “Convergence and Shine”, Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival 2025, taking place from April 3 to 6, has the participation of over 100 stalls of 42 provinces, cities, and 32 travel agencies, transportation companies, and airlines.

Among the series of projects that have been broken ground, commenced, and completed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the City's Liberation Day (March 26, 1975 - March 26, 2025), and the 95th anniversary of the founding of Hue City Party Committee (April 1930 - April 2025), perhaps the technical opening ceremony of the project of Nguyen Hoang Street and the bridge over the Huong River on March 26 is the most anticipated event by Hue people.

On the morning of March 16, the 2025 National Swimming – Diving Championship for the 25m pool officially kicked off at the pool of the Hue City Sports Center (No. 2 Le Quy Don St.), attracting the participation of a great number of athletes and audiences all over the country.

On March 2nd, the University of Economics, Hue University, in collaboration with Youth Employment Service Center of Hue City, organized the experiential program “A day as a HUE University student”.

On February 15, the Employment Service Center – the Department of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs held the opening ceremony of the Month of Job Fair in 2025 with the theme “Spring Connecting Jobs”. On February 13, the Red Cross Society of Hue City, in collaboration with the Red Cross Society of Phu Xuan District and Lock&Lock Vina Co., Ltd., organized a charitable event to send love and support, accompanying people to overcome difficulties caused by natural disasters.

According to statistics from the Department of Tourism, during the nine-day Lunar New Year of the Snake (At Ty)holiday from January 25th to February 2nd (December 26th to the January 5th in the lunar calendar), Hue welcomed an estimated 150,300 visitors, marking a nearly 37% increase compared to the same period during the Year of the Dragon Tet holiday in 2024.

According to the information announced on the night of January 31 by the Department of Tourism, in the 7-day period from January 25 to 31, 2025 (from the December 26 of the lunar Year of Giap Thin to the 3rd day of the Lunar New Year of At Ty), the number of tourists coming to Hue was estimated over 118,600 arrivals, witnessing an increase of 35% to the same period last year.

An exhibition commemorating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025) and welcoming the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025 was organized by Hue City History Museum. The exhibition opened on January 22 at 268 Dien Bien Phu Street, Truong An Ward, Thuan Hoa District.

On the morning of December 10, at the KIMLONG MOTOR Hue Automotive & Manufacturing and Assembly Industrial Park, KIMLONG MOTOR Hue Joint Stock Company and Van Anh Travel and Transport Co., Ltd officially signed an agreement on handing over 200 KIMLONG 99 sleeper buses and 50 KIMLONG X9 minibuses.
