Participating in the Festival were 120 female students from various secondary schools, including Chu Van An, Dang Van Ngu, Pham Van Dong, Nguyen Chi Dieu, and the U14 women’s team of Phong Phu Ha Nam.

After taking part in several physical games combined with life skills activities, the female athletes were divided into 8 teams for football matches and joined a cultural exchange gala in the evening of the same day to share their experiences and emotions throughout the event.

Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha - General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), stated that to develop women’s football in the coming time, VFF, together with the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) and Asian Football Confederation (AFC), are jointly implementing Vietnam Women’s Football Development Strategy for the 2024-2027 period (under the UEFA/AFC Women’s Football Development Project).

As one of five football federations along with Thailand, Chinese Taipei, Uzbekistan, and Lebanon, VFF receives support from UEFA/AFC Women’s Football Development Project. This is a valuable opportunity for Vietnamese football to get closer to the world’s more advanced football systems, thereby learning, innovating, and moving toward greater professionalism in areas related to football development.

Additionally, by focusing on improving governance, applying sports science, and creating a professional environment, the project is expected to help Vietnamese women’s football reach the continental and international level.

The tracks of their tanks stretched over a thousand kilometers from A Luoi (Hue) to the Independence Palace, where they smashed through the gates and raised the victorious revolutionary flag atop the building, signaling total victory.
