The 36th Hue City traditional boat racing - 2025 kicked off on the morning of September 2 on the North bank of the Huong River, about 300 meters from Nghinh Luong Dinh Pavilion towards Da Vien Bridge. On August 24, the City Military Command directed Regiment 6 to deploy 100 officers and soldiers along with vehicles to grassroots areas to help people brace for Typhoon No. 5 (Kajiki). At the same time, the City Military Command directed local military forces to step up support at the grassroots level, coordinating with locals to gear up for flooding and typhoon, and minimize damage to property and loss of life.
